Audio Sync - Better than v10?

Post by vs95 »

Hello,

Looking to upgrade my video software. I'm a long time user of Video Studio but my last version was 10. The lip sync was pretty bad then as was the new text menus and support, thus my reason for not upgrading. Same video files rendered with Nero (at the time) had no problems. I remember there being a sticky at the top of the support forum with all the things to do to try to minimize these problems.

I see some posts here about audio sync problems and it concerns me after all the version upgrades since 10, there's still issues with it. Are audio/lip sync issues still a problem with the latest version of Video Studio? Will it be worth my while to upgrade and use this over my Nero?

There are still very occasional posts by users having out of sync problems -- most notably with .mov files. But certainly far fewer than in the "bad old days"... Nor is it absolutely clear that these OOS problems were solely attributable to Video Studio.

But the easiest way to see if things work for your set-up would be to download the trial of X5 and try it out!
