Super low framerate in preview window

Post by jon_989 »

I am using VideoStudio Pro X3, and am having a lot of difficulty with the preview window.

When I play the video I have been working on, it runs the video at about 1 frame per second or so, and renders the program useless. The odd thing is, when I select an individual clip and click run, it runs at a proper frame rate.

Is there some sort of codec or driver that I am missing? Any thoughts?

It's difficult to say. Usually people have trouble when playing back AVCHD footage in Project mode. But you haven't told us anything about the properties of your video. To find them, right click on a clip in the timeline or in the library window of VS, and select Properties. Then either take a screen shot and upload it here, or else copy all the properties here please.

You may want to try and use Smartproxy and update your DirectX
