I can get sound up through the menu, but when the video starts there is no sound. This is BBC's Planet Earth. This happenedwith another title too I had to restart it a few times to get the sound.
The player just seems slow and takes a long time to work. I am now using the Cyberlink PowerDVD that came with the laptop which is older, has less features and just works.
I have a Core i5 (Sandy Bridge) Sony Laptop. I believe it has 4 gigs of memory. It has two graphics cards and I set yours as high performance to use the better one.
I clean out my temp foders regularly, have all the Windows updates and service packs installed. I have the WinDVD Pro SP1 installed.
