Blurring faces
I need to blur someone's face (at their request) for an educational video. How do I do this in Videostudio Pro x5?

Re: Blurring faces
You don't happen to have the Ultimate version, do you? That comes with the NewBlueFX Pixelator effect from the VideoEssentials I Collection, made just for that purpose. You still have to do the tedious task of keyframming the position of the pixelation as your subject moves to new positions.
MotionStudio 3D 1.0; Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X7 (w/o sp1) (Download), Corel PaintShop Pro 15.2.0.12 (Download)

Re: Blurring faces
the third post down in this topic gives an explanation of one way to do it :- http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... ht=#194820
It does of course depend on how much the face moves around the screen while it is visible - if it doesn't move at all then a simple colour block or even a quick drawing in the Painting Creator would do it.

Re: Blurring faces
In this situation, I use Vegas 11 with the cookie cutter. It pays to have both programs.
