Post by Salterista »

I am having difficulty installing PSPx4. I have created a admin account but I contiune to get an error at the beginning of installation. I have tried to install from purchased disc and the downloaded trial version.

I get a "Your system has not been modified. please complete install anouther time" message. I have read all the know threads but nothing has worked. I have a Win7 Home premium on a lenovo machine.

Hi

First I have a Lenovo laptop and had no problems in installing PSP.

When you run the installer files are extracted to a temporary folder, these are then used to install the program, after which they are deleted.
make sure the temporary folder has been cleaned.
If you do a search for %temp% view the folder for a Corel PaintShop Pro X4 and remove it.

Then try to re-install

You may want to remove all traces of the failed installation of PSP before starting over again. You can follow these steps to do that... http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... hop-Pro-x4
