Batch renaming original files only renames a single file

Post by pantarhei »

When I try to rename original files contained in a batch, only a single file gets renamed.

I am following the instructions described in http://product.corel.com/help/AfterShot ... brary.html.
First I select all thumbnails with [Ctrl] + [a]. All thumbnails in the folder have a yellow border now.
Then I press [F2] for rename version. I enter a name such as "2012-smith-[4jobseq]" (without quotes). "Rename all Versions derived from Master Versions" is checked -- or not, does not make a difference and should not make in this case.
Then I press the OK button.
Only a single file gets renamed. In the example: "2012-smith-0001.CR2" (when the job sequence is set accordingly).

further info:
- the photos have been edited and rated
- renaming of all files in a folder worked once

I thank you very much for your suggestions. If it is a bug, I thank you for fixing it.

i get the follow also on 1.0.1.10 linux version:

original names:
"test-2012-smith-0009.cr2" / "test-2012-smith-0010.cr2" / "test-2012-smith-0011.cr2" / "test-2012-smith-0012.cr2"

i renamed with "test2-2012-smith-[4jobseq]" :
"test2-2012-smith-0013.cr2" / "test2-2012-smith-0014.cr2" / "test2-2012-smith-0015.cr2" / "test2-2012-smith-0016.cr2"

conclusion:
i'm not able to restore the jobseq to start from 0001.

So how is this related to the starting post of the thread which discusses a completely different issue?
original names:
"test-2012-smith-0009.cr2" / "test-2012-smith-0010.cr2" / "test-2012-smith-0011.cr2" / "test-2012-smith-0012.cr2"

Form what you wrote, that is definitely not discernible.
You might want to post a screenshot the rename dialog.
