Test before burning proves absolutely nothing. All it does is simulate a burn. The only valid test is a complete burn.

Two years this week and still no solution from Corel! :(

And since VideoStudio X4 is no longer a supported product there never ever will be - no matter how often you keep asking.

I gave them more than enough time during the time IT WAS supported software (The 3rd Service Pack Came out during this waiting period, BTW) and they left me hanging. That's piss poor customer service if you ask me, not to mention It's kept me from purchasing later versions. Not a good way to treat a loyal customer, is it? Sent to Engineering and then it just disappeared.

I'm appreciative of those who have tried to help me troubleshoot it here, but seems to be stumping even you guys! Bad Software install disc? Considering I've reinstated and updated windows and drivers several times (Clean installs) and the problem continued, I'm leaning towards that, but not sure how that could be when the other functions and elements appear to have installed correctly. (such as the video editing functions, etc) Just would like to find some answers and a solution, that is all.

You're missing the point - it is a function that is not working and it needed to be resolved, and it wasn't - not even a "we can't find the problem" response but they kept me hanging. The software did not work as it should, even if it's one function. A function I as a user prefer to use. For all I know there's issues with other functions I'm not aware of, perhaps that other issue that popped up regarding the discs after burning.

I just want it to work as it should, is that too much to ask?
