I can’t put a border around an overlay track clip once it has been rotated. If I put a boarder around an overlay track clip prior to rotation then it is removed upon rotation.
I use VideoStudio x4.

When you rotate the image, the border does vanish, but only temporarily. Click the "Attribute" tab or click on a empty area of the timeline, or click the "Project" button just below the preview window.
MotionStudio 3D 1.0; Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X7 (w/o sp1) (Download), Corel PaintShop Pro 15.2.0.12 (Download)

Re: I can’t put a border around an overlay track clip
Thanks for the reply but, it doesn’t work on my program; the boarder is removed, the boarder option is set to zero and cannot be altered. Clicking on the "Attribute" tab, timeline, or "Project" button does not make it reappear, the option remains unalterable.
If I rotate the overlay track clip 180° from the original it works without issue.
I only seem to have this problem when I rotate the overlay track clip 90° from the original.

Hi User123
Just tried the border/rotate options without problems.
Try updating Direct X
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=8109
Download this file
Run to extract the files, create a folder on your desktop to hold the files.
Run the file DXSETUP.exe

Re: I can’t put a border around an overlay track clip
I've got xp home with sp3 & DirectX 9.0c 4.09.00.0904.
I don't think there are any higher DirectX updates for xp.

Hi
manually updating Direct X will not change the version number.
manually updating Direct X has cured some strange issues with Video Studio for some users.
I do not know if it will cure our problem, but I feel it is worth the effort.
Updating Direct X should not cause you problems.
I am using XP an have run the process before without problems, my version number is the same....
