Problems installing VS pro ultimate x5 boris grafitti

I recently bought a box of videostudio pro x5 ultimate. Everything went fine with installing until I got to the bonus cd/dvd.
When I tried to instal the boris grafitti part of it, it started asking for a serial number which isn't provided.
Something is filled in there automatically but it doesn't allow me to continue on with the installation.
I was already adviced to de-instal the entire program, and even got a link to do so, but even after that and repeating the process I got the same error.
I send it back to the store saying it was defect, got a new version, but I have the exact same error.
Please can someone help me with what I'm supposed to do?

I use windows 7 in case that's important.

yes it does help in knowing your operating system.
However you have completed the PC details within your profile which show to the right of your posts, We thank you for doing that.

The Boris Graffiti should install without having to input a serial number. That should be done automatically.
Are you using the PC as administer?
Are you installing the software using Admin rights?
Try copying the entire disc to your hard drive and then installing from there?

completing the pc details took me a while, but with a little help from a friend I got there eventually.
I had been just been clicking "instal" whenever it popped up hoping that'd work.
Thanks for the advice though! I'll go try that right now.

thank you! After installing it as admin,
and actually writing something in the "company" area I finally managed to instal the entire program!

Thanks for the update, glad you managed to install the software.

Now that you mention having to enter something in the Company box, yep that jogs the memory.

The only other problem I had was the Grafitti ran as though a trial, prompting me to buy.
If you see this then re-install the program, Grafitti that is. The repair option did not cure this issue.
