VS ProX5 Ultimate Disc 2 "Special Effects Value Pack"

Installed VS ProX5 Ultimate. Purchased Boxed copy.....2 Disc are included. Disc 1....and Disc 2 "Special Effects Value pack". Is it this 2nd disc and the Special Effects software that makes my version the Ultimate version? After Disc 1 Installed the install process did not prompt me to insert Disc 2.....so whatever is contained on Disc 2 is not necessary to install VS.

What is on Disc 2? If there are special effects I will never use....why install it just to take up hard drive space? Does anyone have a list of what is on\will be installed by Disc 2....or a link to see the lists whats on the "Special Effects Value pack"

If I install Disc 2......can whatever is installed be Uninstalled without uninstalling the entire VS software? That is, will I see a separate entry in P&F for Disc 2?

Did you ever think of simply putting Disc 2 into your computer and see what comes up on screen? Nothing will be automatically installed until you direct it to... As far as I am aware, it contains Boris Graffiti-- an excellent, if complicated, titling plug-in (which appears under Filters when installed); and several pro-Dad plug-ins: a roto-pen; and excellent anti-shake plug-in called Mercalli; and something called Vitascene which I confess I have never used. Each of these plug-ins are relatively expensive if bought separately, and depending on whether you use them or not, could add considerably to the utility of Video Studio.

Boris shows as a separate program in P&F, thought the pro-Dad ones do not -- at least on my set-up.
