Whenever I use the "click white" feature for white balance, the resulting image looks a little too green. The white balance chosen by the camera is usually more pink. I know I can change the tint, but that adds an extra step after each "click white" and it's imprecise. Am I the only one noticing this? Any suggestions?
In addition, the tint level in ASP is different than the initial reading from the camera to produce the same color. For example, a tint of 30 in ASP looks more green than a tint of 30 converted straight from the camera.
I hope I explained this well. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Click White Too Green?
This actually happens on RAWs from all my cameras (Canon 5DIII, 7D, S100). It's not drastic, but it is noticeable.
Re: Click White Too Green?
I've seen a slight magenta tint to click white on some images with my 7D. Try using the gray eye dropper in the Curves tool after setting the click WB. When I see the undesired color tint, this more often than not gives me good results.

Re: Click White Too Green?
You're right. It does seem to vary by camera. Click White looks too green with my 5DIII and a bit too pink with my old T3i. It's off enough that it's noticeable. Perhaps the chroma noise characteristics of each sensor is influencing the WB?
Re: Click White Too Green?
I also see too-green results from Click White, as well as when just switching from a preset to Custom Kelvin (using identical Temp/Tint settings as the preset); I need to increase Tint by 15-20 toward purple to match the preset in the latter case, and that's also the amount which makes Click White look right.
