Hi,
I use Ubuntu 10.04, I have a second monitor configured as TwinView.
* Is there a setting to make ASP support 2 monitors?
* I tried enlarging ASP past the end of the first monitor. Doesn't work.
Any magic incantation to make it work?
Thanks
Linux second monitor

Re: Linux second monitor
AS has no special provisions for two screens.
If you use twinview then you will have noticed that you can have only one profile loaded into the LUT, which of course will screw up the second screen. So the only use for the second screen is to put tools or the browser there.
You can detach the tool panel via View->Toolbars, unfortunately you can't detach the browser ;-(
cheers

Re: Linux second monitor
I use openSUSE & KDE with two screens (2x 1920x1080), i don't now what the setting is in nvidia-settings.....
But i make one big screen of it, so i have 3840x1080 and i use Aftershot in that resolution.
If you like i can make a screenshot of it?

Re: Linux second monitor
I use three screens, but I prefer keeping AS on just the center one and making it fullscreen. The others are used for GIMP, web browsers, etc.
Re: Linux second monitor
Yes please. One of my problem is that each monitor has a different resolution. The "older" one is 1680 by 1050 and the new one is 1980 by 1080.EOS wrote:I use openSUSE & KDE with two screens (2x 1920x1080), i don't now what the setting is in nvidia-settings.....

Oh i see, then you can max 3600x1050
panning can be a solution (nvidia-settings --> tab advanced --> panning), but then you have to scroll on the smallest screen
