Following the suggestion, I downloaded and installed Windv. I always like to know how to uninstall any software I install. After I installed Windv, I went to P&F....Windv does not appear in the list. I opened START\All Programs...Windv does not appear there. Windv is installed, I can open the software and use it.

I even downloaded and installed Max Uninstaller, Windv is not shown. How do you completely Uninstall Windv?

There is no install or uninstall. It runs as a "stand-alone" program. If you want to remove it, just delete it.

You can have WinDV.exe on an external drive and run it from there.

Have not as yet tried to use it....but like I wrote, I always want to be able to remove any softeare I Install. The prior response wrote, just Delete it! Since it is not in P&F; or, has an Uninstaller with it....and apparently does not record any registry entries.....I look for it in a Folder and delete it that Folder? Does it install in more than 1 Folder? And if so, please ID the paths; Thanks

It does not install anywhere. It will be in the folder where you unzipped it. You can even have it on an external drive.

Just delete WinDV.exe, that is it.

Hi
The problem is solved.
One of the guys from the geek squad knew the answer.
He says at stores like best buy and others that sell corel all see the same
problems with VX4 and VX5.
He checked out my computer specs and downloaded a special driver for my
computer.
Corel has to update the driver for all the new chips in the systems today.
Thanks

What problem is solved? You just can't hijack someones thread and then state "the problem is solved". I would not put much store into any information you get from "geek squads" especially when it comes to products like X4 or X5 or other video programs. Very few of those guys know very much about individual programs as the are mainly hardware geeks.

Corel does not supply drivers for your hardware, you always get those from the chip manufacturer.

Please do not simply repeat the same post you already made above. Moreover, your post is not particularly helpful. The problem may be solved for you but you give no real information which might help others.
