I just putchased and installed VideoStudio x5 Ultimate. When I attempt to use the Rock-Steady camera Virtual Stabi-Cam in the Mercalli 2.0 filter, the only output I get is a blank black video. Plus, when I turn on the Compare View, all I get is a blank black half of the video. Both the Universal and Glide cameras appear to function. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

Re: VideoStudio x5 Ultimate and Mercalli 2.0 Rock-Steady Cam
Hi
Welcome to the forums
I have just tried all options and they seem to work ok
I assume you are using the default settings and not tweaking the sliders?
It may be associated with the type of video file you are using.
Can you give details, right click the video in the timeline and select properties, what are they?

Re: VideoStudio x5 Ultimate and Mercalli 2.0 Rock-Steady Cam
You can't use "Rock Steady" on a video that is outrageously shaky. That would result in an all black video.
MotionStudio 3D 1.0; Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X7 (w/o sp1) (Download), Corel PaintShop Pro 15.2.0.12 (Download)

Re: VideoStudio x5 Ultimate and Mercalli 2.0 Rock-Steady Cam
Thanks lata and Kingston. After working with the Mercalli filter some more, it was indeed the fact that the video was too shaky. The filter does work on other videos that I have. I'll get more accustomed to the filter the more I use it. I guess I was expecting too much. Thanks for the quick responses.
