So, I have a great lens profile for the 20-50 Samsung NX Lens but having looked around, there's nowhere for me to put it. No configuration file?
So, yeah... help!

what file though? i've been through them all and there's none there for samsung lenses - that is, no 'lens table' file for samsung lenses at all. could you help with that?

Possibly - 'profile_genericSLR.txt' that you need to look in.kye wrote:what file though? i've been through them all and there's none there for samsung lenses - that is, no 'lens table' file for samsung lenses at all. could you help with that?

Looks to me like the NX100 is listed in the 'profile_samsungSLR.txt' file. The group listed for all NX cameras (available) is 'samsungNX', but since there is no 'profile_samsungNX.txt' file, no profiles exist for your camera. If you have your own profiles, I think that you could just create the missing file 'profile_samsungNX.txt' in the same directory and put in your profiles.Hobgoblin wrote:Possibly - 'profile_genericSLR.txt' that you need to look in.kye wrote:what file though? i've been through them all and there's none there for samsung lenses - that is, no 'lens table' file for samsung lenses at all. could you help with that?

NOTE: your 'profile_samsungNX.txt' will most likely be overwritten or deleted during the next ASP update.

In a linux box, the file to which you add your calibration data is /opt/AfterShotPro/supportfiles/Profiles/LensProfiles/profile_samsungSLR.txt
As I understand it, this is likely to map to [pick a drive]:\Program Files\Corel\AfterShotPro\supportfiles\Profiles\LensProfiles\profile_samsungSLR.txt on Windoze.
The NX100 has already got a slot for you to add your calibration data there.
As the previous poster remarks, keep a copy to restore after your next upgrade of AS.
