no audio in project, but is fine played as clip

Post by noobie1234 »

hi, i decided to try out the corel visualstudio x5.
i created a short clip that was cut from a longer movie.
i put it in the "Media" box at the top right.
i decided to make it a stand-alone movie clip.
i create an mpeg4 movie but the problem is there is no audio.

when i play it as a clip while still in visual studio pro x5, it is fine. but when i try to watch it as a project it only shows the video.

Hi

The video file properties are not standard, a frame rate of 25 would indicate a Pal type but a frame size of 704 x 288 is not Pal.
The video is compressed using ffdshow, do you have this codec installed on the pc.
At one time i did have this installed but gave more problems than it was worth, i removed it.

Ok

What is the properties of the original video file?-- the longer movie, right click it in the timeline and select properties, what are they? paste the details here.

What do you intend to use the new video clip for, the internet or a DVD disc?
