How to load *.png pic with height 39920 into PSP X2 ?

I have a *.png picture with a file size of 5.8 MB a height of 39920 pixels and a width of 1020pixels.

When I try to drag& drop this picture from WinExplorer onto a X2 PSP installation then PSP tells me:
"This is not a valid PNG file"

Hmm, this *.png picture can be displayed without problems with other viewers.
So its a problem of PSP.

How can I let PSP load successfully this picture?

I have a memory of 4Gb and running WIn7 pro 64bit.
So hardware shouldn't be a problem too.

Just did check in PSP X2 and the limit on a size is 32767. Any more and it causes an error. This applies to PSP8 and PSP X3 also . But wait, the flagship X4 maxes out at 10000 pixels. I guess that is regarded as an improvement in PSP. (Although personally the current limit I need is 5616 for a Canon 5D Mk II 21 Megapixel camera.
Given the current progress of cameras, the limit of a 4:3 camera will be 75 Megapixels.
Pentax have a 645 D 40 Mp, Hasselblad in 2006 had a 39 Mp camera and Nokia in Feb 2012 put out a 41 Mp camera phone.

So that limit is getting closer as photographers seek more Mp. Unless Corel changes its way, in about 2 years time PSP will not be able to open the latest full size images.

As i have not installed SP2 at the present stage I don't know if the 10000 pixel limit has been raised or neglected in favour of improved uploading to Facebook features.
