Fried computer - new computer - download?

Hi all....

Once I again I visit the font of knowledge. Sure hope you can help me this time.

I bought Pro X4 in March of this year. My computer crashed and burned, and now I have a new one. Fortunately, I was able to recover myall my Outlook emails as I back them up almost daily, including the email with the key for the program I purchased.

I expected to download the program again, use my key, and be up and running... but! Now it's version 5, and it's an upgrade that I don't need and don't want, and don't want to pay for.

VS Pro X4 works just fine for me. Any ideas on how I can download that version so I can use it without having to spend more cash I don't have - just had to buy a new computer, don't you know?

You will need to contact Corel customer support and explain to them what has happened and they will give you a link to download another copy of VideoStudio X4

You may find it easier to contact customer support by going via your account on the corel.com website - that's the one you used to register your copy - may not be the same as the log-in for these forums - depends on how you did it.

Can I also strongly recommend that when you get the link , you download the programme - not run it from the link - then copy the download to a CD/DVD/external drive - then install the programme on your new computer. Then if something else goes wrong in the future you will have a copy of the programme to re-install from.
