I've used VS11+ for making DVD's quite a long time. However, I've just made a DVD with a menu and it gets stuck between titles. This is weird because I've used the titles in other productions without fail. Where do I start to fix this? Shift them around? Delete them then re-add?
Thanks

What does "gets stuck between titles" mean? You can't select another title? It doesn't move to the next title when one is finished playing? Since you have not supplied much information on what you did, it is hard to offer suggestions.

Have you tried burning another disc - might just be a glitch in one disc.

I have it set to play all the way thru then go to the menu. It gets stuck between clips with the screen remaining dark. I better go buy a DVD-RW before ruining any more discs.

You could of course also render to a Video_TS folder and play that using a video player such as VLC. Would be a lot quicker then burning discs and cheaper.
This should also show whether the problem is in the project or in the burn.

Re: DVD stuck on a title
I'll try that in a few. Thanks
Right now, it doesn't skip a title where it used to.
I now either skips a few titles at the end or plays all the way thru.
I'm beginning to think the disc was damaged when I first inkjet printed the label then burnt.
I know it's not recommended but I thought it was due to the ink drying.
Seems otherwise at the mo...
Further testing to come...
Using Verbatim MCC discs...Never had one fail yet...but there's always a first time.

Hi
Are you saying that you are printing a paper disc label, or are you printing direct to the disc face.
Using a paper label can cause problems with disc balance.
If the option to create a TS Folder worked ok, burn a disc and play without printing the label.
Does that improve things?
