Batch Edit Add Background PSP X2

Post by LsuEduLive »

1. Batch Edit Add Background PSP X2
2. 10 Photos of varying sizes "BATCH" pasted to a 8x10 Black Background
3. PSP X2 with XP Proff with Srv Pak 3

What is your advice to add a common, black, 8 x 10, black background to several photos of different sizes smaller than 8 x 10?

All will be used in Windows Movie Maker to create a Musical Slide Show

Thank you for all you do here in the New Orleans French Quarter

Do you want them resized at all? Or do you just want them all placed on a black background?

One option would be to just use the CanvasSize command in a script set with Black as the background color. Then all you would have to do is write the script to take the size of each image into consideration for placement on the canvas. Which is simple enough.

With this simple script in hand you could then run the script on a batch. Naturally you'll want to set it to save a copy of the image and not overwrite the original in case something goes wrong. :D
