I have a DVD with about 9 different WMV movies on it. One movie, however, I have isolated to show that it is bringing up the "convert step got some problems" error. I cannot figure out what is wrong with the file!
I've tried remaking it in WMM, and it stil gives the same error. I finally found a free video converter called Fx MPEG Writer but it ends up screwing up the audio so that it's seconds behind the video; looks like bad dubbing or something like that.
How can I get this WMV file to not make the errror? It's EXACTLY like all of the other files on the disc which burn fine; it was made in Windows Movie Maker, it came from a camcorder, and it was made into a WMV file. So what separates it from the others? And why doesnt remaking it help? Why do I have to convert it to make it work? And unfortunately, the converter doesn't output the file well...
Thanks for any help!

Does your file name have spaces in it. It was suggested in another thread on the same subject

that they can produce that problem.
