Hello, I've been a Bibble user for years and just today realized that Bibble is no more and Corel bought them out.
I bought the upgrade and at first glance it looks like they just moved around the icons or redesigned them.
I shoot RAW with a Sony a700.
I noticed that some files look washed out in ASP as compared to B5.
So I would like to know from others that made the switch 'was it worth it and why'.
If I hadn't bought the Maintenance Pack I would have already asked for a refund [not sure why it is non-refundable in the first 30 days too].
B5 to ASP: What did I get for $50?

I also use the a700. You will need to setup a new raw default setting file. Most everything is the same, except, minus the look profiles which are no longer part of ASP. You may also find that any xmp file in bibble will not work in ASP. You no longer can move files into the catalog, it now just links the files to the catalog, so you may need to re-setup your catalogs with ASP. Also your b5 plugins will not work with ASP, you will have to re-download the ASP ones, luckly most everything in B5 was moved over to ASP.
Thanks.

dFlyer sums up the major changes.
For me, the changes in ASP is beneficial. I never liked the look profiles, so I am happy they are gone. ASP is less buggy, support my GH2 much better than Bibble and many outstanding bugs are fixed (like pink colours when using Highlight Recovery).
There are some bugs still; but I expect them to be fixed in future updates.

These are my default settings for RAW:

Exposure -.10
Highlights: +04
Saturation: +05
Sharpening: +140
I than adjust from here as needed.
