Tool Bar missing on Photos
I'm using Paint Shop Pro X2. Within the past 2 days a problem arises when I try to load more than one photo on the screen. I have multiple photos of the same thing and I want to compare them. When I switch to one of the other photos, all of a sudden I lose the top bar that contains the 3 icons to close, minimize or expand. My only alternative is to shut the program down and restart it. I have downloaded the latest update and it didn't help. I also have not made any preference changes for the past year. Any suggestions?

Re: Tool Bar missing on Photos
Has it switched to Tabbed mode? Go to menu bar Windows --> Tabbed Documents ... and if it is ticked , untick it.

just adding to what hartpaul suggested. You can also reset your workspace. You can do that by pressing and holding down the SHIFT key then double-click on the PSP icon then when you received the message "DO YOU WAN TO RESTORE PAINTSHOP Pro TO ITS DEFAULT STATE?" just click OK.

Re: Tool Bar missing on Photos
Tabbed documents was not checked. I tried holding down the SHIFT key and clicking on the PSP icon and I didn't get the message "do you want to restore Paintshop Pro to its default state". In fact PSP would not load.
