PSPX2 and Ulead Art Texture

Post by Aus »

I have PSPX2 and run XP Home.

Until recently my Ulead Art Texture worked perfectly.
Now when I go to the Edit area all the pallettes are greyscale.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and cannot get the colours back into the pallettes.

Can anyone help in getting it to work properly again?

The problem is with Ulead Art Texture or PSP X2?

If it's PSP X2, you may want to first download all updates and reset the program.

All updates for PSP X2 can be found here - http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index. ... pid=700025

To reset the program... press and hold down the SHIFT key then double-click on the PSP icon then when you received the message "DO YOU WAN TO RESTORE PAINTSHOP Pro TO ITS DEFAULT STATE?" just click OK.

I believe the problem is in Ulead Art Textures.
As Corel now owns Ulead I thought I'd ask here.

It was working fine. Then it just stopped showing the colours of the pallettes in Ulead AT.
Rest of PSP works perfectly!!

This has been an issue for this plugin that has been around for at least ten years. I do not know if a specific reason or fix was ever issued. The URL below has a possible solution for this that worked for some people but not others.
