I have a 45 minute video title, which i have created in Ulead Media Studio Pro 7. I the author a DVD in DVDW2. It plays back fine on my living room DVD player, but I cannot play it on my PC (tried Media Player, real Player and several Intervideo products.
I want to create a web enhanced DVD with eDVD, so it will absolutely have to play back on PC.
I tried burning directly from MSP7 and the problem is the same. So I assume it could be something in the original video project's settings - or my PC's DVD drive.
I give below details of the settings andhardware used.
The DW2 project is about 2,7G, so I am still afr from the 4G limit.
I realize that the data rate may be considered high (8000), but since the project is not bigger than 2,7 G it sould not be a problem. Right?
Any help would be appreciated! I know little particularly about audio aspects. Could it be the source of the problem.
Could burning speed be the issue? I once tried burning at lower speed, but it produced artefacts... so I hope I don't have to try that again.

No playback on PC!!
Is the disc +RW or +R? At high bitrates (and your's are needlessly high for a DV input), your drive may be experiencing problems, especially if +RW.
Try reburning it at 6000 kbit/s CBR and AC-3 192 kbit/s. I promise you that the quality will be just as good.
It makes no sense whatsoever when you say that burning at a lower speed produces artefacts. The files are identical. In fact, my experiments have demonstrated that burning at ½ max speed is more reliable, as there is better edge definition of the data "pits".
