Hi, all.
I've been doing some group photos for my work and would like to overlay our logo and text, but be able to use it again for other shots and change the text when needed. Something like class photos where all I would change would be the text.
Can I create a transparent PSP image that can then be overlaid any future photos? If so, any tips or suggestions?
Using PSP X4 Ultimate.
Thanks!
Bob

Yes you can.
If you put the logo and text inside of a group layer you can copy the entire group from image to image easily. Also with the Move tool all grouped items (provided you leave linking turned on) will move in relation to each other so they keep their position and you can move them anywhere you want.
In fact you can even use the Visible Watermark command to place any image, including a PSPImage, onto another image in any corner, directly in the center, or even tiling it across your image. You just have to make sure that the logo is properly cropped to use this one because it doesn't care if there is a lot of empty space around the text and logo, it renders everything empty space and all. The empty space is still empty but the positioning would be off.
The first one is more customizable, the second is more automatic.

It looks like what you want to do is similar to the process of placing a water mark on your photos. You can try and follow this old tutorial that I created. I created this for PSP X2 but you can still apply if to newer versions.
