Hi
Yes--copy the files Graffiti and pro Dad from the X4 vft_plug folder to X5 vft_plug folder.
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X4\vft_plug
Then:-
Reset X5 by re-naming en-US to "en-US copy"
This will also reset the library to default.
For XP :-
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro\15.0\en-US

Re: boris fx and mercilli
so I just want to be sure. I am not so good at this . I copy the plug in mecitill and boris fx from the same file vft_plug in vx4 and paste to the vft_ plug file in vx5.
Where do I find the "en-us" file to change it?
By the way why do you have to change the en-us file to make it work?
Thanks

Hi
The location of the en_US folder was given in my first reply, the folder is within the Documents structure, make sure you use that one.
More details from Corel site.
000013546 - Manually resetting Corel VideoStudio Pro X5 to its Factory Default Setting
Will recreate the folder refreshing the libraries where you will find the Graffiti filters
I have VSX5 with Graffiti, I have copied the files from X5 to X4 where they now are available to use.
No reason why it wont work the other way round...........
Depending on which products you have installed depends on the actual files, i see these files
Graffiti5.vft
proDADMercalli20Corel4.vft
proDADRoute40Corel4.vft
proDADVitascene20Corel4.vft
copy the files from the "vft_plug" folder in vx4 and paste to the "vft_plug" folder in vx5

Hi Barb
Copy and Paste the files from one folder to the other, notice i say "copy" rather than move.
How
Press the CTRL key on keyboard and hold , mouse click each file in turn this will select the files, will show in blue.
When you have the files highlighted, Right mouse click one of the highlighted files and choose Copy.
Navigate to the second folder (X5 Folder) right click an empty part of the folder and choose "paste"
The files will then exist in both folders.
Then Manually reset Corel VideoStudio The filters should now show in Video Studio FX library
