Crash upon zooming after problems with Wacom Bamboo tablet

Post by RinguPingu »

I use a Wacom Bamboo Pen Small tablet when I do my photo editing. In PaintShop Pro X3, I had a problem where the pressure sensitivity would be on, despite having turned it off. I could, however, fix this problem by backing up my preferences and the restoring them using the Bamboo File Preference Utility. I recently upgraded to PaintShop Pro X4, and I had the same problem, with the pressure sensitivity being on despite me turning it off. Now, however, when I try to use the same fix for the problem, everything works at first but PaintShop Pro X4 crashes when I zoom in. This only happens after the aforementioned backing up and then restoring of the preferences, and only when zooming in, not out. The first time it happened when I scrolled upwards with my mouse (I use a mouse simultaneously with the tablet), but it also happens if I select the Zoom tool and attempt to zoom in that way.

I don't get any kind of error message, PaintShop just quits as if I'd shut down the program.

To clarify; the tablet is a Wacom Bamboo Pen Small, and the problem I'm having is with PaintShop Pro X4.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Have you updated your PSP x4? If not you may want to download and install the updates from http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index. ... id=3000009

First install SP1 then followed by Sp2.

I have tried to install the service packs, but I receive a message that "no update is necessary". I haven't installed the service packs, that I'm aware.
