Hello,
I've installed a demo of 8.0. I had a version 7.0 that came with my DVD burner. At first, I didn't install the 7.0 when I received my DVD drive, but it wouldn't play or read DVD movies until I did. Recently I've tried removing version 8.0 and it has an error and will not remove. I've reinstalled 7.0 since then, but now I cannot read a DVD movie anymore.
How can I manually remove Ulead VS 8.0 now that Add and Remove Programs will not remove it? Until I get it fixed, my drive will no longer read DVD movies.
Suggestions appreciated.

Ulead uses some secret tricks to prevent you from uninstalling & reinstalling the demo after 30 days are up ...probably registry entries and/or secret files in your Windows System folder. I don't know of any way to remove all traces of the demo other than reformatting your hard drive and re-installing everything.
Try searching the net, and wait to wee if you get a better answer here. If not, you'll have to take drastic measures.

How do I remove VideoStudio 8 manually when the InstallShield file is corrupted? I can't remove it from the Control Panel: Add/Remove Programs.
