Hello!
I am trialing ASP. It's not as intuitive as Lightroom 3, which I trialed back in December-ish. But I believe that I could develop a good workflow if I had some help.
I would really benefit from a basic "workflow tutorial", so that I can develop regular habits to start. Eventually, I'll tailor to my own needs.
I need a smooth workflow to help me QUICKLY identify the "keepers", and more importantly to get rid of the also-rans before they become clutter. Yes, I'm not afraid to delete photos from my hard drive. Clutter saps my soul and my muse; clutter is my creative enemy!
I love taking and sharing photos, but I don't want to even spend a whole hour on them when I get home with a hundred of them on a memory card. I know myself very well, and the first rule of anti-procrastination is to keep the process fast, efficient, and results-oriented. The process of culling should be very fast for me or I will not keep up with it, and I might as well just give up this hobby now. This may sound bad to some of you, but for me it is the cold, harsh truth.
Proper (and PROMPT) culling will increase my odds of recognizing that one magical photo when I do take it. When I do get that occasional magic photo, then I'll spend hours fine-tuning it, if necessary (hopefully it wouldn't be necessary, but even a great photo might need some technical help from time to time).
Can anybody help me develop a consistent and efficient workflow with ASP, or guide me to a resource that may be helpful?
Thanks in advance!
