Aftershot Pro doesn't see tiff files from Hugin
I am using Hugin to create panoramas with files exported as tiffs from Aftershot Pro. When I export the resulting pano from Hugin as a tiff file Aftershot Pro doesn't see it, while if I save it as a JPEG it appears in the file system tab as expected. The tiff files are being created by Hugin and appear in a file viewer. Linux Mint 32 bit OS. I have tried various flavors of tiff in the Hugin export but nothing seems to work. Suggestions appreciated.

ASP will not display files over 30 (?) MB. Hugin panos are probably much larger.

Thanks for these suggestions - and Spoilerhead, thanks for the brilliant plugins.
The size limit doesn't seem to be the problem, as some of the tiffs are under it, and the jpegs which are seen are the same size as the tiffs.
I will keep trying and post the answer if I get to it.

check if
a) the tiffs are in RGB mode (CYMK and monochrome is not supported)
b) the tiffs have an alpha channel (again, not supported)

Re: Aftershot Pro doesn't see tiff files from Hugin
Thanks for suggesting that there is a problem with TIFFs with an alpha channel. Removing an alpha channel from some GIMP generated TIFFs (again in GIMP) worked a charm, and restored sanity.
