My directory structure is
[YEAR]/[MM-DD]
So when importing from my camera can in example get:
/2012/05-28/
/2012/05-29/
This is also the name the library folders get in the catalog. I'd like to rename these with some keywords like:
/2012/05-28_trip_to_the_zoo
/2012/05-29_Spider_session
How do I rename a library folder? Only method I've found is to create a new library folder and then move the photos over.
I could change the name in the file system, but then I'll have to delete the library folder and import the renamed folder.
I could also rename folders before importing the folders, but then I can't use the Download batch to get the files off the SD card.
Is there a smooth way to do this, or do I need to change my workflow somehow. I know about keywords, but that is not the solution I'm looking for. I want to rename the folders.

Re: Renaming library folders
Thanks!
Changed subfolder to [month]-[day]_[jobname] and checked "Ask each time for jobname". That works perfectly! Now I only need to group the files to download into several batches if I have more than one event on the card. That's easy!
My workflow is yet again smooth and perfect. Simple and perfect solution.
But now what to do with all my folders just named [MM-DD] without jobnames... I still want a rename function. Not so important anymore, but on my wishlist for future versions.
