X4 Use precise cursors is broken

Hi folks

I upgraded my Paint Shop Pro from X2 to X4 recently and now I find that the precise cursors seem to be broken.

The crazy thing is that it has broken X2 as well so I'm a bit stuck. I know that it used to work because I use PSP for digitizing vector curves and have existing drawings where the vector node is not at the center of the pixel grid.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Do you know how to fix it (maybe some other setting is conflicting)?

Now I feel stupid because I should have done more reading before diving into the forum. Anyway, maybe it will help someone else.

To move the node around smoothly (not only at the center of the grid, uncheck the setting...

[Preferences][Units] Vector coordinates
Snap to center of pixel while moving.
