How to get Media File entries to save with a project?

Post by DudeBoyz »

I have X5 and am trying to figure out how to get the specific entries in the Media File area to save with the project they were used and saved in.

If I use 5 video and 1 audio files in a saved project, I would like those 6 entries to show up in the media library each time I open the project.

Is there a way to do that?

Thanks

just start a new library for each project you have - giving it the name of your project - and only put the files used in that project in that library - then when you open a project again open the corresponding library and the files will be there, but you cannot arrange for any specific library to open with a specific project - you have to open the project library once you have opened your project.

Thank you for the info. It's a manual process but at least it can be done.

I may ask for that feature in the wishlist for x6.
