Ok Guys I have been doing a little of my research and found how to run a command prompt for some body that had a similar problem not been able to install some software on windows 7 this is what I found

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833 from here so I started this but It was beyond me to keep following this information how ever after running the scan I got that far I guess. It came back with this information

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Windows\system32>findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >%userprofile%\D
esktop\sfcdetails.txt

C:\Windows\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of th
em.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

C:\Windows\system32>

I do not understand this but its telling this is what is wrong. I know you guys may or may not be up to this sort of information but I am just hoping somebody that understand this stuff may be able to help me could this be why VS won't install onto my computer if so do you know how to fix it in layman's terms please thank you

Hi

The details of the scan should be in the CBS log file, here C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

You should be able to open that file using Note Pad.

I doubt if it will make any sense to me?
But i am willing to look at it, e-mail the CBS.log to me, find my address from the Quick Guide links below.
