Yes. This is just odd to say the least.

Sorry if this has been asked before but...........
Does the problem show when using all video files, or is it just types from the recorder.

Given that other editing programs have problems i would suspect the actual video files.

If its a corrupt file then the problem will show on other computers, have you access to another pc.
If not
Can you make a sample available for download. Some users have used 4shared, a free sharing program, you have to register to use this program, As far as I know there is a 2 Gb limit

By the way where do you live? I assume you are in the US with the video files being NTSC?
