Tablet Trust TB-5300 incompatible in Win7

Post by MatsW »

Pen tablet Trust TB-5300 is incompatible with PSPX3 in Windows 7. However it works with older PSP and with Painter 12. This tablet also works with PSPX3 in WinXP. It is a very good tablet for its price, actually.

That is, PSPX3 doesn't detect the the pen pressure, which makes the software less useful for artistic purposes. However, three other graphic softwares can detect the pen pressure. Those who use Win7: which pen tablet do you use for PSPXn?

I use Wacom's Bamboo Pen and Touch. It was having issues in X4 but not any more.

Have you turned off Window's own Tablet features? Under the Control Panel click on "Uninstall a program" and then on the side should be an option to turn Windows features on or off. Turn off the tablet ones see if that helps.

Right, there were two drivers loaded. But it didn't help to remove the Windows driver, so I did the opposite and removed Trust's driver for this very tablet. Then it worked. PSP now recognizes pen pressure. Thanks for the help.
