Clip markers
How to identify clips in the media library that are inserted in the timeline. There is no "tick" mark to tell us

Re: Clip markers
I am doing a video with 192 clips. It is a pain. The compititor software puts a tick mark once the clip/photo is in the time line,so useful

Re: Clip markers
you can easily change the title of each thumbnail in the library - say just put a star in front of each name under each thumbnail as you use it - just double click slowly on the thumbnail title and edit it.
Or put a marker thumbnail in the library - say a plain colour jpeg for instance - then as you use each clip just drag the clip thumbnail to a spot after the colour thumbnail in the library - they all move around very easily.

Thanks for the work around. Wont it be simpler if VS tick marks the clips in the media library

Re: Clip markers
After I use it (place in the time line) I lose it (delete it from the library)
Then I never have to worry about selecting it again.

That is one solution I was thinking off. Sometimes you need to get the original clip if it is trimmed wrongly which then it creates a discomfort.
What I did was I pulled all the the clips in the PIP line. Moved to main time line, one by one, as I went about editing. This way I am sure that I have all the clips and know how much is edited and how much is balance. Then again if I delete a clip by mistake I can always take it from media library

PowerDirector provides an indicator automatically. It would be nice if Corel did as well.
Complex projects can be hectic enough, especially if multiple people are working on the same project. Having to rely on each person to follow the exact same convention consistently may be asking too much.
Something to add to the version x6 wishlist, I believe.
