Using Canon .vro files
Hello -- I'm trying to find out which product will support a '.vro' type file. My Canon camcorder burns to a mini DVD and I found the file extension was '.vro', however I find supporting software. The Correl disc does not work with Windows 7 and Canon no longer works with Correl. Thank you in advance for any direction you may be able to give me.

Hello - first you will notice that I moved your topic here into the 'VideoStudio' forum because what I think is that you want to edit your videos and then create a new video or DVD - is that correct ?
VideoStudio would be the best programme for that - you say the Correl disc does not work with windows 7 - that doesn't tell us much, there are a number of Corel programmes and each one has a number of versions, some of which work on Windows 7 and some do not. Can you please tell us which programme you are using , is it VideoStudio or MovieFactory or something else - also very important which version are you using, VideoStudio is up to version X5 (that's 15) and will work on Windows 7.
So - what exactly do you want to do with your videos - and what are you trying to use.

Re: Using Canon .vro files
Also, a .vro file needs to have been finalised in the camcorder so that it can be used elsewhere, can you confirm that the disc was finalised?
Can you copy the files from the mini dvd to your computers hard drive?
