Printing within AfterShot Pro

Post by eestubbs104 »

I am new to AfterShot Pro; 4 days new (two days licensed, plus 2 days on the trial version)

My question pertains to printing within AfterShot Pro.

I followed the directions for printing. Clicked the output tab. In the printing section I dragged my thumbnail photo to batch name 8x10". Double clicked the batch name to preview the print job in the print settings dialog box.

In the print layout section, I clicked on fixed size; 8 x 10"; checking off one image per page and scale crop. I was used 8 x 10 photo paper .

When I click on the print box, my printer printed a 3 x 5" photo. I am only getting a size 3 x 5" photo, printed on a 8 x 10" photo paper, not a 8 x 10 photo, which is what I want. What am I doing wrong?

Help me please :?

have you set the paper for the printer in the driver?

down left, under [ Page Settings ] button you get the regular printer dialogue for that.
Bibble since 2004. Aftershot until 2020. From then on darktable.

Not exactly what I did :? , but I did do what you said and it worked :D . I actually printed my first 8x10 inch photo. I was so sure that it wasn't going to work, that I used plain paper  . Later on when I get back, I will be using photo paper.

Thank for your help grubernd :)
