Let the monkey out

Post by tomsi42 »

I see that Corel uses SurveyMonkey for errror reporting.

Fort those of you have used it, what is your experience on using it?
Do you get any feedback on the report?

I wish they had a more proper bug/error management system, so it was possible to see if others have reported the same bug.

On the subject of monkeys - enjoy ;)

Usually not. only when there are some questions or more input is needed.
I'd prefer mantis/traq/bugzilla, too, but it's a "works for me" solution. It just makes it harder to track how many users are affected, as i guess that most users don't want/are to lazy to submit bug reports, on public trackers they could just click "me, too"

If you got any immediate problems with my plugins, don't by shy on contact me on GoogleTalk.

I think we ALL would. Those are true bug tracking sysems where survey monkey is not. It's an unfortunate choice Corel made there. But, better than nothing.
