Can somebody please tell me, is 0 on the audio mixng board the optimal level for voice/music audio in VideoStudio Pro x5? If not, what is the optimal level?

0 is simply the base level of the imported video - the starting point from which you can increase or decrease the final level.
The optimal level is whatever sounds right - sounds the way you want it - you choose your own optimal - too loud and it may distort - to quite and you won't hear it.
