UPDATE: June 26 2012; see the 5th post, where I share my preset collection!
- new: refined sharpening, grad, noise and vignette presets
- new: RESET presets for color, exposure, curves, grad/vignette, corrections, sharpening, noise reduction etc.

after searching the web, I couldn't find yet any site where ASP presets are offered/shared. Well, it would be nice if in this thread, people can share links to interesting presets they have found! Maybe you have already created some awesome presets yourself

There are a large number of presets contributed by others. Most, although not all, will work fine with ASP.

Since I started this thread asking for presets, I think I have also to start sharing the ones I have.

Most are from different sites and forums. They are not thoroughly tested yet, just a collection. I added only a few sharpening, noise, vignette, grad presets and an "ALL RESET".
Some require certain 3rd-party plugins that need to be installed so that the preset works correctly.
The cataloging may not be logic to everyone - it's just how I use them.

Hope you can find something interesting... and share YOUR presets as well

UPDATE: June 26 2012
1. my sharpening and grad filter presets needed some refinement...
2. I created/updated some RESET presets:
ALL RESET - a complete reset, following the instructions given in this forum
Reset Color - the original ASP preset + disabling of color-changing plugins like FatToni, Mathbox, Black&White, Mix3, SiliconBonk, zChannelMixer, Color Equalizer, Nuance, Nostalgia etc.
Reset Correction - disabling LensCorrection, CAQuest, Mirror, Invert, zPerspector, mdRedEye and Grid
Reset Curves - disabling Curves
Reset Exposure - the original ASP preset + disabling of AutoLevels, Bez, SContrast and MB ASP Lightroom
Reset Grad filter, Vignette - disabling of Grad and Vigne
Reset Noise - disabling of RAW Noise, Noise Ninja, Wavelet Denoise and Grain
Reset Sharpening - disabling Sharpening, Wavelet Sharpen, USM and zSoften
Reset Text, Frame, Shadow - disabling of zText, zFrame and zShadow

Most of these presets do not reset all sliders and options to standard values, but only disable the plugins. This has the advantage that values are not lost altogether, so you can quickly return to previous settings by simply enabling a certain plugin.
To reset all values to the standard use the preset "ALL RESET"

Since I have not found a good manual to RTFM all the tricks (I have not gotten the book yet), is there a way to update the presets w/o restarting AfterShotPro?

AS will only recognize presets that where defined within AS without a restart.
If you copy stuff to the preset directory outside of AS, you need to restart AS so that it can pick them up.
