Your display environment does not support protected content.

Post by hruzam »

I know that I've seen this question posted for other computers, OS's, and with external monitors, but I haven't seen a real answer yet.

I just installed WinDVD Pro 11 on my older HP laptop, running WinXP Pro SP 3. I recently did a complete reformat, and reinstall of the OS and other software. When I put in a regular DVD, it plays a couple of seconds, then it stops and displays the following..."Your display environment does not support protected content.'

I had WinDVD 7(?) prior to the reformat and all worked just fine.

Does anyone have an idea what I might try?
