Hello
i am looking to update my pc, everything is kind of easy to choose , but the video cards really concerns me! What is recommended for VS4? ATI or NVIDEA?
working with AVCHD files from my Pany AF101, is a pain really playback is ok, but running the with mouse over the footage is slow and not smooth especially if i go backwards. , - right now i have ATI HD4890, but going to change it.....
so 1st i d like to find out about the general name ATI or Nvidea? as i understand is more like open GL or open CL? what will gives me horse power?
Does anyone had any experience with both , what was faster/smoother/easier to work with?

Re: Best video cards for VS4?
ok, seems like i ll answer my self to that question! in case if some one wonder about the video card then here is what i have received from COREL:
Our VideoStudio Pro X4 (and current version) is best with multi-core Intel based computer with Nvidia video card that is equipped with CUDA Technology, the program's performance booster. You may visit Nvidia's website for more information about this feature (Cuda).
So i think something like GTX 580 with 3GB VRam is going to be very good
