How much does Intel QuickSync accelerate VideoStudio?

“We do use QuickSync for both encoder and decoder on Intel platform since SandyBridge. Yes it works well for IVB as well!”

Given Anandtech's review of Quick Sync Image Quality & Performance of Ivy Bridge I'm hopeful that there maybe up to 5x hardware acceleration??

Does anyone have any stats on how much acceleration Intel Quick Sync gives VideoStudio?

i kind of dont really like intel 3rd generation CPU, as it only 4 cores!

in 2nd generation there is a 6 core CPU

I have an H67 Sandy Bridge and the encoding is fast-no problems. If you have a P68 system then, you can use a video card and not the on board graphics of Intel, as required for H67 systems, to maximize Quick Sync. The new Ivy Bridge is even faster with no constraints.
