can't install Ultimate pack or KPT, popups too big

Post by judylynn »

Hi all,
I've just spent several frustrating hours trying to find a solution for this; can't get a question through on the main Corel site, totally confused by the Corel FB page, searched this forum, etc etc,

I purchased PSP-X4 Ultimate in a box. I was able to install the program itself onto my netbook but neither the Ultimate Pack nor the ProX4-KPT download could install because the popups are so big the buttons to click are inaccessible.
I tried changing the resolution and some other generic workarounds I found in a net search, to no avail.
The program itself was a little difficult to install for the same reason, but there was just barely enough of the buttons accessible to successfully click on them.
I hope someone can help me with this, or point me to a link. I know the netbook is so small for using the program, but it's the one I take along for the summer and that's when I will use PSP the most.
I also look forward to learning from this forum, although I'm not in a position to offer much at this point, being a total newbie.

I probably won't be of much help myself, especially if all I have are what has already been suggested to you.

1) You can try hitting the "alt" key and pressing the down arrow. This should bring up the default Windows context menu. Select "move" then use the up-arrow to move the window farther up screen until you can see the button.

2) You can try simply hitting the "Tab" key as most windows and controls have a tab order. The tab key should move through the different controls whether they are visible or not. Only potential issue would be if you accidentally hit "Cancel" so that might take some guess work.

I have to wait until I get home to try installing the KPT plugins to see if any of these suggestions actually work. I've never been in a position to need to try them.

Yay, the tab thing worked!!! :D
It's possible to drag the popup up to see the buttons, but not to click on them, because as soon as you let go it bounces back down out of reach.
So I dragged it up long enough to see how many buttons, tagged over the appropriate number of times, held the tag down while pressing "enter" and Bingo!
You made my day.
Thank you very, very much!
