selecting fragments in timeline

Hi

I'm just lookong for a easy way to insert a piece of movie in the middle of the timeline.
I known you can select a part of the timeline with keeping the shift and select everythinh you need, and then move it to the right so you get empty space. But isn't there a easyer sollution to create a empty space someware on the timeline and move everything else to the right

If you want to just have the contents of a single track move to the right when inserting a clip between two others then turn on Single Track Ripple before doing the insert.

If you instead turn on Multiple Track Ripple then all the other tracks will move over too.
