how do i verify i have a good disk burn

Hello,

So I have my mpg2 file. I burned it via vs. Is there a way to know if the
mpeg was transfered without error to the disk?

Another question. The dvd disk plays well. All of a sudden, the tv screen
pixelates and starts "choking", hesitates . How can I present this from
happening.
