I can't convert my project: 20 slideshows (about 1000 pic)
From windows's system info:
AppName: dvdps.exe
AppVer: 1.0.0.1
ModVer: 3.0.0.0
Offset: 0000fc3d

If you have the OEM/SE version of PictureShow, then this version has a limit on how big a project you can create. With the OEM/SE version, you can usually add up to only 20 or 30 pictures per slideshow. But you can add up to 99 slideshows so you can still add more pictures. Unlike if you have the full version, you can add an unlimited number of slides/pictures per slideshows. That is theoretically speaking since you'll also have to consider the duration of your slideshow. Since you're making a VCD or DVD, it is converted to video and you can only create one with about 60 mins duration to fit the disc.

There is a disc space meter at the lower part of the PictureShow window so you should be able to see if you've added enough picture.

If you're project is within what the disc space meter allows and you are still having the error, then the software may be having a problem rendering and converting your project to video files. Try to reinstall it to make sure there are no corrupt files with your program files. But before you do, clean the temporary files first.

1. Launch Windows Explorer and go to
"Tools > Folder Options > View" to check "show hidden files and folders".
2. Please purge/delete all the files in these folders:
"C:\Windows\Temp"
"C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Local Settings\Temp" (for WinXP)

*The temp folders contain installer files that were used with installing the programs you have now. These are no longer needed and can be deleted with no effects on other applications. If you don't delete the temp files before making a new installation, the new installation set up might not be able to overwrite any corrupt temp installer file from the temp folder. Thus the new installation would still be corrupted. So delete all the files you can from the temp folders.

thanks for help, but...
I have full version
There is no problem with burning proces.
There is problem with rendering.
If my project is small - everything is ok - I can burn my dvd
When the project is big (i think so) - application shuted down during rendering the 17th slideshow. When i reduce to 15 slideshows - PS3 shuts down durnig 12th slideshow

Make sure your pictures aren't too big.

Many modern cameras (called mega-pixel cameras) save very high resolution images (generally 2000+x1000+). Good for printing, bad for rendering. Since DVD's are 720 x 480, this means the program needs to load up, then shrink each one. It's a lot of extra work during an already complicated process.

If you have such pictures, try shrinking them down before hand in photo explorer.

Another thing you can try is to select "Create Disc Image file" instead of "record to disc" this cuts the burning out of the process which makes the render more likely to succeed. You can then burn the image using the disc image writer that comes with pictureshow
